SVG based Chrome with XULRunner
i've pimped up my clock example with some gradients, as you can see on the right...
in this project i have turned that clock into a xulrunner app.
the process to transform it was quite easy, with the help of my "newProject.vbs" script ( see link at the bottom of this page ), i create an empty project. then i removed the default stylesheet,
and copy-pasted the clock svg as seen on the right into the default xul file.
after doing so the window had the shape of the clock, but it wasnt running. i had to move the script
to the xul window, after that, the clock was running fine. as a finishing ive made the window draggable, and added a context-menu to close the window. from this first experience i have to say,
SVG in XUL is quite cool :-)
so enough said, here is the zip-file
containing all project files.
in order to run the app you need to download and install xulrunner first. then just run the batch script in the project directory.

a simple vbscript to create all nessesary files for a xul app.
i have now included a random UUID/GUID generator in the script

this is the pimped up clock...
(to read the time on this clock you have to sum up the lit rectangles.
one rect on the first line is worth 5 hours, on the second line its 1 hour, on the line with 11 rects, each rect is worth 5 minutes, and on the last line its one minute. so the current hour is 5*NumberOfRectsLitInFirstLine + NumberOfRectsLitInSecondLine and the current minute is 5*NumberOfRectsLitInThirdLine + NumberOfRectsLitInFourthLine )
